After obtaining five first prizes (violin, musical training, chamber music, deciphering and acoustics), he perfected with Jean-Jacques Kantorow and Jacques Ghestem. Lecturer at the Conservatoire between 1983 and 1986, he was during the same period Violin Solo of the Chamber Orchestra of the Conservatoire under the direction of Roger Albin. He joined the first violins section of the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra in 1986. Alongside his activity as an orchestral musician, he has developed, since the beginning of his career, a wide practice of chamber musician in the most varied formations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Antoine Laporte<\/strong> holds a Master\u2019s in piano from the Conservatoire de musique de Montr\u00e9al and an artist\u2019s degree from the Glenn Gould School in Toronto. Her main teachers were Suzanne Goyette, Richard Raymond and John O&#8217;Conor. He has performed with the Orchestre symphonique de Laval et de Longueuil, the Sinfonia and the Orchestre Philharmonia Mundi de Montr\u00e9al, the Orchestre de l&#8217;Agora and the Cathedral Bluffs Symphonic Orchestra in Toronto. He won a 3rd Prize at the Prix d&#8217;Europe competition in Montreal in 2018.
