Peur pourpre
Scène extérieure de l’Espace public du centre-ville de Mont-Tremblant, 885, rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont-Tremblant
Marco Calliari is the one who has always shown us that the only universal language we care about is music. The one who brings together and breaks boundaries. Here is a new chapter for this troubadour. A first album in French, interspersed with Italian, Spanish and English. Expect to be carried by unusual and unexplored rhythms on his part. Peur Pourpre is a nod to tons of influences that have marked and shaped her through the years. Sometimes in the Bowie and Fred Fortin, while passing by Charlebois and the Colocs. Directed by the only and mythical Paul Cargnello, this album is both bold and frank. But above all, it will be able to comfort you while inspiring you to tap your feet and hum them every day. Have a good trip!

Quatuor Cobalt – Reflets du temps
Centre musical CAMMAC Music Centre, 85, Chemin CAMMAC, Harrington
The Cobalt Quartet is deeply connected to the string quartet repertoire, from its origins in the Baroque-Classical transition to the creation of new works today.
At the heart of the ensemble’s artistic vision is the pursuit of a rich and varied sound palette.
Reflections of Time is a musical mosaic spanning several centuries. Grounded in historically informed performance, the program gains a distinctive character through the use of period-specific instruments, bows, and strings from the Classical, Romantic, and contemporary eras. Each work reveals its own unique atmosphere, texture, and timbre.
The program features three composers – Maddalena Laura Lombardini Sirmen, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, and Alicia Terzian – each of whom left a lasting mark on their time.
