OUR UPCOMING CONCERTS

Une forêt en couleur

Galerie d’art de l’Espace culturel Cookshire-Eaton, 125, rue Principale O.

Since 2024, the Ensemble Choros has been collaborating with multidisciplinary artist Sandra-Viviana Murillo-Morales (artist name arQ RunicoS) as part of the project Une forêt en couleur.

The works on the program, rarely or never performed in Quebec, showcase the five instruments of the wind quintet while exploring different forms of orchestration and evoking elements of nature.

Throughout this project, humanistic values are emphasized: solidarity, listening, mutual aid, respect, empathy, and contemplation. In a world that sorely needs them, the artists participating in Une forêt en couleur wish to bear witness to the power of art in their lives and in society at large. The audience will be invited to stay after the concert to chat with the artists.

Ensemble Choros: Geneviève Deraspe, flute ∙ Lindsay Roberts, oboe ∙ Laurence Neill-Poirier, clarinet ∙ Katerine Rousseau, bassoon ∙ Laurence Latreille-Gagné, horn
