Sur la scène Davignon On Stage is a multidisciplinary professional presenter offering exceptional cultural programming for the Brome-Missisquoi area. Founded in 1987, its mission is to generate interest in the performing arts among audiences of all ages. The organization is recognized for its innovative cultural initiatives, its rich and diversified programming, as well as its receptive audience. Each year, 45 to 50 shows and concerts are presented in various venues, at affordable prices, and accessible to all. The presenter is supported by the City of Cowansville, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and Heritage Canada.
Musique au salon, the small classical concert series devoted to chamber music, is held in the heart of Cowansville at Emmanuel United Church, a beautiful venue with a warm and intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics. There are no columns blocking the view and the stage is elevated for a better view. Musique au salon is a great opportunity for discussions between artists and the public. Among other things, it aims to stimulate the emergence of new audiences for classical music and to promote emerging artists by diversifying the types of ensembles, instruments and repertoires.
