Driven by our passion for opera and lyric art, as citizens of Abercorn, we wanted to share with the people of Estrie and the vacationers who flock there the emotion that comes with the experience of a live opera concert. In the charming little heritage church of All-Saints in the village, now converted into a cultural center that can accommodate up to 150 spectators, we organize this two-day mini-festival every summer, for both seasoned music lovers and curious newcomers.
The creators of Abercorn Lyrique, Marie Léonard and Robert Nadeau, accompanied by their friend and former director of the Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal, Chantal Lambert, have teamed up with Julien LeBlanc as artistic director to present the ambassadors and the next generation of Quebec’s lyric art in an intimate atmosphere accompanied by piano. Witness the many facets of the human voice in an enchanting setting with wonderful encounters over a glass of wine.
