Amour fou avec Myriam Leblanc et l’Ensemble Mirabilia

Église de Nominingue, 2265 rue du Sacré-Coeur, Nominingue

Crazy Love offers a journey through more than 400 years of music dedicated to love. In this vast selection of vocal and instrumental works, the soprano Myriam Leblanc, accompanied by the Mirabilia Ensemble composed by Grégoire Jeay on cross and Christophe Gauthier on harpsichord, explores with finesse the many facets of this universal feeling. Exalted joy, sorrowful separation or flaring up of the first emotions: every nuance of love is rendered with grace and sensitivity.  Playing on baroque-era instruments, the ensemble creates an enveloping and refined sonority, characteristic of ancient instruments, which lends itself beautifully to this musical exploration.  The resulting intimate atmosphere evokes the whisper of a romantic dialogue. The surprise is even greater when resonate more contemporary songs, such as; Ne me quitte de Jacques Brel or Dis, when will you come back?  of Barbara, reinterpreted with the same instruments.
