Delicate. Lyrical. Biographical.

A concert-portrait of Charlotte Sohy, a recently rediscovered French composer from the Belle Époque. You will thus have the opportunity to hear several of Sohy’s works for piano, violin, and cello performed by a trio of musicians who are among the best of their generation, and to learn about the life of this woman who remained in obscurity for nearly a century.

Works by Charlotte Sohy:

Thème varié, Op. 15 bis, for violin and piano
Quatre pièces romantiques, Op. 30, for piano
Octobre, Op. 23 No. 1, for cello and piano
