Working for over 40 years!
Aramusique (l’Association de Repentigny pour l’avancement de la musique) is a non-profit organization that has been active in the region since 1983. Aramusique is the music presenter for the new Théâtre Alphonse-Desjardins at the Espace culturel de Repentigny. Its mission is to offer high-level musical activities to as many people as possible, with an intimate approach between artists and audiences, to introduce young audiences to music and to act as a crossroads for artists and artisans in the field.
Aramusique presents an annual programme of six concert series: Sons et Brioches, Concerts scolaires, Apéro-Jazz, Grands Concerts, Musique Intimiste and Musique du monde.
During the summer, Aramusique presents Midis Aramusique in the courtyard of the Centre d’art Diane-Dufresne at the Espace culturel. For over 20 years, Aramusique has also been coordinating and supporting summer masses with music at the Paroisse du Précieux-Sang, featuring up-and-coming musicians.
To bring together all the players in the Lanaudière music scene, Aramusique is currently developing a directory of musicians, trainers, craftspeople and organisations to facilitate links between these players and the clientele.
